Primarily responsible for selling and servicing Miraval Experiences for all group events concentrating on guest experience, brand awareness and bottom line revenue.

Performs all tasks and delivers a high level of guest services in conformance with policies, procedures, work instructions, training, codes of conduct, recognized best practices, safety laws and regulations.

Sales Essential Duties:

Develops sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established goals.

Receives and incoming Social Group inquiries for groups and is proficient and accurate in preparing proposals and estimates

Executes sales process: identifying prospects, qualifying leads and closing sales with a well-executed contract.

Participates in community activities and networking opportunities to build brand awareness

Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and referral sources.

Logs all sites, calls and customer activities with meticulous notes in Delphi.

Conducts property tours and outside sales calls

Prospecting clients for potential repeat business / analyzing lost business & recommending solutions

Demonstrates competency at Contract Clause Negotiation and editing.

Events Essential Duties:

Executes event planning process from turnover to through client billing and survey

Responsible for communicating attrition, cancellation and all other contract policies with client.

Responsible for confirming group’s final numbers for private programs, spa, food and beverage.

Communicate client’s needs to staff through BEO’s, Resumes, BEO and Resume Meetings and Pre-Cons so that guest experiences are consistent with what has been represented

Reviews billing for accuracy prior to being sent to client and able to work through billing discrepancies as needed

Other Duties:

Is familiar with all hotel services/features & local attractions to respond to guest inquiries accurately.

Keeps up on the latest industry trends for sales, marketing, events, and programming as well as client requests. Makes recommendations to Hotel management with opportunities in revenue growth.

Supports the team by anticipating and providing help as needed / makes suggestions to improve the guest experiences

Is flexible and assist with duties/functions of others when needed.
