HOUSEKEEPER Job in Edmonton, AB at Boardwalk –

Job Responsibilities:
Keep the facility and common areas well maintained with regular cleaning
Maintaining a consistently safe, sanitized environment for our Residents with quick attention to spills, etc.
Attending to Resident’s needs in a friendly, respectful and timely manner
Maintaining clean, well-stocked restrooms (including within suites)
Collection and disposal of trash (including within suites)
Notifying Leaders of repairs required
Restocking linen rooms
Active participation in the Emergency Management Plan, Infection Control protocol, WHMIS and Health & Safety strategies
Other related tasks as assigned
Experience and Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma
2 years of related experience
Technical Requirements:
Operating in an efficient manner while maintaining stringent safety practices
Strong customer service skills
Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
Knowledge of supportive living environments is an asset
Demonstrates a strong understanding of accident and injury prevention; adheres to safe work practices and procedures
Non-Technical Requirements:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently (self-managed) with efficiency and with other Associates in a team environment
Able to interact with others in a positive, patient, courteous and professional manner
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt (including working alternate duties as needed to meet the needs of the Residents and Community)
Availability to work various shifts (evening and weekends)
